Music, Music, Music!
I wrote most of these songs several years ago on my old Sound Blaster
8-bit card, and after recently purchasing a Yamaha DB50XG wavetable
daughterboard for my SB16, I have revamped them and done some work. Let
me know what you think!
- "I'll Be Over You" by Toto.
I wrote
this 2/6/95; took me a shade over 8 hours. There's just something about
this song... Perhaps my best one yet... you decide.
- "Africa" by Toto.
I've always liked this
song. Written several years back.
- "Chamelon"
I used to play this in pep
band back in high school. I saw the potential for some cool stuff (while
in high school) and threw this together.. I love the drums. So much fun
to play with!
- "Fletch theme" by Harold Faltemeyer.
This
great German keyboardist wrote this theme for the "Fletch" movies with
Chevy Chase and the "Axel F" theme for the Beverly Hills Cop movies. I
figured, hey, he did it with a keyboard, so why can't I?
- "Hazard" by Richard Marx.
Some strong
strings in the middle of this one. Neat song.
- "Mike 4" by me!
For lack of a better
name, I have called this Mike 4. Also this was the 4th attempt I made at
an original composition. I started this many years ago and have just
added pieces to it along the way. I think it is finally at a good stage.
This midi file uses some XG extensions but should still sound great with
GM equipment. I really like the bass and the hard driving drums.
